BookendS™ is happy to do the leg work in locating any book in NZ or from offshore.
We will also guarantee without obligation our price and the books availability when we quote you.
The good thing about books is that there are plenty, the bad thing is no one has the capacity to have them all. We usually only have on our site books that have sold before or are currently in print.
However we can usually find the title you are after just let us know here

Albeit that we are an educational specialist we are a bookseller and we are clued-up as to the goings on in the entire book industry. Given this we are able to supply any title from any source, just ask and we will seek it out for you. We carry little or no stock as we have found that by doing so we are able to reduce our costs and therefore save our clients money. With that said we are confident that we are able to supply titles as quickly as most other web-based suppliers.
BookendS™ is a gateway to all the publishers both in New Zealand and overseas.
Because we have access to such a large number of products it would be unproductive to produce a printed catalogue as this is both bad for the environment and adds cost for you. We consider the range we offer on our site and the way it is categorized should be very helpful. If you want to get a catalogue that is publisher specific let us know and we will endeavour to get one for you without obligation.
The people who operate a BookendS™ understand the large range available and as such are very adept at pin-pointing what is suitable for the needs of our clients. Due to the fact we are independent we are impartial and your choice is important to us. We also understand that sometimes the information on our website is not enough for our school customers. BookendS™ is able in most cases to provide inspection copies to our school customers. Sadly we cannot extend this service to anyone who is not a school customer.
At BookendS™ we are focused on our clients needs. Because of this we find it imperative to discuss your requirements so that we can best meet your needs in a timely and cost effective manner.

It goes without saying that efficiencies in your schools book buying is our aim, both from a time and savings basis. We are more than happy to better our relationships with our clients. We are able to quote for the requirements of all departmental orders within your school. With a strong working relationship we are confident of offering excellent efficiencies in time and savings in your purchases.
Speaking of efficiencies most publishers in New Zealand now print their titles overseas. Delays in reprints occur often. As such we recommend that our Secondary customers order titles they require for Term One in Term Four to ensure delivery. We will happily place the order deliver the books and invoice you for them when Term One arrives.
Policies
Account Terms
Schools and educational establishments will be invoiced on account to meet their particular needs with payment due 20th month following invoice. Other clients can arrange payment by cheque, bank transfer or credit card by supplying details via email, fax or phone. Upon creating a customer login on our website you will be able to purchase via Credit Card should you so choose.
Availability
The titles made available in our web-store are titles that are currently available from publishers in New Zealand, Australia or elsewhere in the world. Please be aware that at any given time delays in delivery may occur due to the origin of the titles. Because we hold no stock NZ distributors advise us delivery within 5-7 days. Titles distributed out of Australia may take up to 2 weeks. Titles imported elsewhere, will usually take 4-6 weeks for delivery. Sometimes it does take longer and we will inform you of delays.
GST
All prices are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated.
Ownership
The goods remain the property of BookendS™ until paid in full.
Privacy
At no time and under no circumstance will any information provided to BookendS™ through this website or any other means be shared with anyone outside BookendS™.
Returns
BookendS™ offers all our books on a firm sale basis only so please choose carefully or ask our advice. We can only accept returns for the following reasons:
The goods supplied are damaged or faulty prior to delivery.
The goods are supplied incorrectly.
The goods supplied vary from their description on the website.
Any claims for shortages, damaged or mis-bound books should be made within 7 days of receipt.
Only mis-bound books will be accepted for replacement once books have been covered, stamped with school identification, or marked in any way by the School.

Ordering
Because our website is interactive the easiest option is to order online. All online orders are processed later off-line for increased security and because we like the personal touch.
Order online:
Browse the categories for the titles you want. Put in your order quantity and add them to your cart.
Once finished browsing go to your cart and follow the checkout instructions its that easy.
We accept Visa and Mastercard only.
If you are buying on Account please provide and order number so that we can both track and monitor your order.

Because we love hunting for books to keep our customers happy we usually turn up some interesting titles. However to make our job that much easier if your could provide us with as much information as possible we will be able to track your title down faster. The things we like are the books title, ISBN and Publisher.
